On Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, AVICON organized an educational visit to Stenkovec.
This was part of the project that AVICON presented for the students from Karposh municipality of Skopje on the topic ” Overcoming gender stereotypes when choosing a profession in aviation”.
The interested students of different ages joined Team AVICON on the journey to sport’s airfiled Stenkovec.
This is a special year since we celebrate 100 years jubilee from the beginning of Macedonian Sports aviation.
The students had the chance to see the parachute club, and one of the parachuters was a 16 years girl who was more than happy and willing to share her experience and passion for parachutes.
The students saw the VFR aircraft, had the opportunity to enter inside and the AVICON aviation professionals tried to explain every question that students had.
It was a lovely visit and a continuation of the collaboration with the Aero Club Skopje at the Sports Airfield Stenkovec in the vicinity of Skopje Macedonia.
