The fifth anniversary of the Skopje Air Fair, held at the Wembley location in the Skopje City Park, marked our most successful edition to date. Under the motto “We act today — for the aviation tomorrow!”, AVICON once again transformed the heart of Skopje into a hub for aviation enthusiasts, professionals, and the next generation of aerospace leaders.
SKOPJE AIR FAIR 2025 was a Growing Regional Powerhouse: This year’s fair truly embraced its international character, welcoming prestigious regional training and career programs. We were honored to host the Aviation Academy Belgrade from Serbia and the Wizz Air Pilot Cadet Program from Hungary, offering our visitors a direct window into international pilot training and commercial aviation careers.
First-Time Participants & Specialized Units: We were thrilled to expand the fair’s scope this year with several debut appearances. For the first time, the Rescue and Protection Directorate joined us, showcasing the vital role of aviation in emergency response. The Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided a fascinating look at law enforcement in the skies, while companies like DroneBuzz and KMT Solutions brought the cutting-edge world of unmanned aerial vehicles and tech solutions to the forefront.
The Pillars of Macedonian Aviation: The event was anchored by the unwavering support of our domestic industry leaders. Visitors engaged with representatives from:
– National Heritage & Defense: The Military Academy and the Macedonian Aviation Federation represented the proud history and disciplined future of Macedonian flight.
– The Authorities: The Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) provided essential safety and regulatory insights.
– Infrastructure & Airspace: TAV Macedonia and MATCA (Macedonian Air Traffic Controllers Association), offered a behind-the-scenes look at airport operations and the high-stakes world of air traffic management.

Education and Community Aviation is as much about skill as it is about passion. The fair featured the Educational Centre Shabotikj, the Association of Aeronautical METeorologists, and Ad Verbum, all contributing to the academic and linguistic foundations required for a career in the clouds.
Special Thanks: An event of this scale is only possible with strong community backing. We extend our special gratitude to Centre Gnezdo, Mako Market and Kozhufcanka for their generous support in keeping our participants and visitors refreshed throughout the day.
Looking Ahead As AVICON celebrates five years of the Skopje Air Fair, we remain committed to our mission of promoting aeronautical sciences and enhancing aviation entrepreneurship. This event has become a bridge connecting young dreams with the professionals who live for the sky.
We act today — for the aviation tomorrow!
