The International Day of Human Space Flight is the annual celebration, held on 12 April, of the anniversary of the first human space flight by Yuri Gagarin (USSR). It was proclaimed at the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly on 7 April 2011,[1] a few days before the 50th anniversary of the flight.
We as AVICON, together with Aeroclub Skopje, were invited at the Macedonian National Television show to present the aviation possibilities at the region.
We praised our pioneers who paved the path for aviation starting from the 1920s when the first aerodrom in Skopje was built. An overview was made of how far have we got.
